Version 2.0!

Current Status - Ganymede 2.0ish - October 2, 2008

Ganymede 2.0ish is available for you to download!

I'm calling it '2.0ish' because we've spent the last 4 years doing development and maintenance on the Ganymede system within the laboratory, without having updated the web site at all.

We haven't actually put out an official 2.0 release, because we run the code in production here 24/7, and we're always tweaking and fixing things as we go along. Ganymede has gotten dramatically more efficient, reliable, and powerful while we've been working on it, without ever officially blessing a 2.0 release.

This is going to change soon as we revamp the web site and finally put out a new formal release, but for the time being, you can download code drops from ftp://ftp.arlut.utexas.edu/pub/ganymede/2.0, or from our GIT repository.

Help improve Ganymede! We need your comments on the software and documentation as it stands today. Don't be shy.. if it doesn't work, tell us. If it does work, tell us that, too. More feedback is really needed. If you download it and spend time with it, drop us a line and tell us how it went.
