[Ganymede Help] After successful (?) installation...

Title: After successful (?) installation...

I installed the server of a FC 2 box running j2sdk1.4 latest version from sun.  I've run all the installation scripts including the latest userKit out of the box from the site.

I started the server, installed the data.xml file, and when I go to launch the client, in any of the ways possible, I get the login box.

When I launch the regular client I get the login window, but I cannot type anything into the username/password fields

When I launch the admin console, I can type in the username/password fields but nothing happens.  All I see is an idle Connecting… on the button

I really want to make this thing work, because I was actually working on something similar on my own, but I figured I shouldn't re-invent the wheel.

The server started successfully, and doesn't report any errors. Suggestions?
