You do know you can edit the schema from the admin console, don't you?
The graphical schema editor is pretty straight-forward. There's no
help for the schema editor, unfortunately, but the only things that
you might not guess is that you can drag nodes up and down in the tree
to reorder fields in an object or object types within categories.
You can right-click on the various schema folders to get some pop-up
menus, as well.
