[Ganymede Dev] Permissions model......
|
Hey Jon,
I am having a problem with the schema permissions model...i have about
10 newly defined objects in my schema. And now i want to give the owner
ship of these objects to different personae's...i created a User, gave
its ownership to a group, created an admin personae related to that user
and defined a new role object and added that admin personae to this
role....now i have about 10 newly defined objects in my schema. As a
first step i tried to give ownership of a object which doent have any
invid field in it to this admin personae....and when i logged in to the
client side as this personae ...the object is visible to me and as i
have given create, edit permissions i could also perform these
functions on the object........
Now I selected some objects which have invid fields in to them ....and
gave their permission to this personae.....and this also worked
fine...The only problem here is there are two objects in my schema that
are not working correctly under this permissions mode....working
correctly in the sense that when i give their ownership to the
personae...( as these objects have data inside them) when i log in as
the personae and click on the node to see all the objects defined under
these objects ......at the bottom of the screen i see a
message "Loading objects for base Address"(here Address is the object
name) but it never loads the objects(i have about 4094 objects under
the object "Address" and they are visible when i log in as
admin) ...the same happens for an another object, except these two
objects every object works fine.....I have checked the permissions
model again and again and there is no different thing that i am doing
to these two objects......The only thing with these objects is that
they have a lot of fields defined in them.....but this doesnt seems to
be a problem as the other objects that are showing up fine also have a
good amount of fields defined in them....I hope i am clear , if not
please let me know i'll try to eplain it furthur...
Thank you
