The Ganymede ftp archive is at ftp://ftp.arlut.utexas.edu/pub/ganymede/. The latest things to download are:

• Ganymede 2.0 pre-release (12 October 2009)

Alternatively, you can pull a tar.gz snapshot of our latest stable build directly out of our Git repository.

You can view the CHANGES file from our latest stable build to see what has changed recently.

The Ganymede distribution was created using GNU tar, and contains files with very large file/pathnames. Some vendor-distributed tar programs, including Solaris tar, have problems unpacking the tar file. If you are using Linux or BSD, you are probably already using GNU tar (if it supports the -z option to handle gzipped tar files, you are). If you don't have GNU tar, you can get it from ftp://prep.ai.mit.edu/pub/gnu/tar/.
